Little by little by hook or by crook

Continued catharsis direct from Tampa, thanks to Jon et al.

"Reframing the broader debate as tyrannical Democrats versus freedom-loving Republicans is one that the Republicans can win."

"But that's not the real debate--"

"It is--now they've CHANGED IT."

Hard to believe all of that assholic chicanery went down exactly where I saw this:

Save me from tomorrow

I am posting this here because employing certain social media platforms to convey my personal opinion apparently invites two-second, typed, snotty bursts of uninformed outrage and fact-ish retaliation.

People, pick up on what I'm putting down now

Just a little something for the gang down in Tampa (to whom I refuse to pay any attention except that which is filtered through the Colbert/Daily Show Socio-Satirical-Industrial Complex).

I wish the DNC would have Neil and Crazy Horse open their big hoo-ha next week with this. That would show 'em!

(It would!)

I'll march this road

Oh, the drama. Still, I love this Simple Minds song that's not by the Simple Minds.

Dang. The Call leader Michael Been:

  • died of a heart attack at a music festival at age 60
  • his son is in the band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and is named Robert Levon Been. I think know where that middle name comes from
  • Been played the apostle John in the film The Last Temptation of Christ
  • in the late 60s/early 70s, he was in the band that Peter Cetera was in before he was in Chicago Transit Authority. That band was called Aorta
Facts. They can paint a better picture of a man than his one-to-two hit wonders can.
